On your wedding day you will have enough to think about, without having a pushy photographer ordering you around. Stephens approach is relaxed but focused, and his aim is to capture the day – the fun, the excitement and the emotion in a candid way as it happens. Candids are often the best photos. That said, to wait for the "magic" to happen can sometimes be a risky strategy, so to achieve the best results, he will sometimes encourage a scenario or a look. He wants to record stunning images of each bride and groom, and has lots of experience to ensure those shots are achieved. 

Stephen will meet with you well in advance to discuss your big day, and with a thorough understanding on both parts of what we are doing on the day itself, it paves the way for the photography element to be a pleasure, not a chore. If you are wanting more formal group shots, we can always cater for those. We will ask you to prepare a list with a copy for Stephen, and a copy for a more vocal member of the wedding party (the best man often suffices!) so he can organise people for the next shots as Stephen takes the photos. That way, we achieve the shots swiftly with the minimum of fuss.

With the big day captured to film (well, disc), we then take great care in post production, to ensure we get the absolute best from each image. In terms of presentation, we offer a choice of more traditional matted albums, or contemporary digital art books, where we fix the photographic prints onto a core of board giving the pages a heavier, stiff quality. The page layouts are designed in Photoshop meaning it is an incredibly versatile option.
